Follow these steps to register a new order and complete the assignment.

Step 1

Log In

Start by logging in to RørOrder with your work email and password. You can find the system at rororder.no or via a shortcut on your desktop.

  1. Enter email (work email)
  2. Enter password
  3. Click Log In

Tip: Check "Remember me" on your work computer to avoid logging in every time.

Start a New Order

From the dashboard you can quickly start a new order via the quick actions at the top of the page.

  1. Go to Overview (home page)
  2. Under "Quick Actions" click New Order

Find and Select Customer

Search for the customer in the system. You can search by name, phone number or organisation number.

  1. Search for customer by name, phone or org. number
  2. Select the correct customer (double-check the address)
  3. Click Continue

Tip: Phone number often gives the best and fastest results in the search.

Enter Details

Fill in the necessary information about the assignment. The more complete the information, the easier it will be for the technician.

  1. Select Assignment Type (Service / Installation / Urgent)
  2. Set Date and Time Window
  3. Assign Technician (if available)
  4. Write brief note: problem + access + expected action

Confirm and Send

Verify that all information is correct before creating the order. Send confirmation to the customer.

  1. Verify customer, address, time and technician
  2. Click Create Order
  3. Send confirmation via SMS/email

Complete Assignment on Mobile

When the technician is finished at the customer's site, the assignment is completed directly in the mobile app.

  1. Open the assignment in the app
  2. Click Add Materials
  3. Take photo/documentation if needed
  4. Click Complete Assignment

Tip: Register materials as you go during the work – it saves time afterwards.

Common Problems and Solutions

Problem

Can't log in (wrong password)

Cause

Wrong password or account not activated

Solution

Try "Forgot password". Contact IT if it still fails.

Problem

Customer doesn't appear in search

Cause

Customer not created or wrong search term

Solution

Search by phone number. Create the customer if they don't exist (check for duplicates).

Problem

Technician can't see the assignment

Cause

Technician not assigned or status not published

Solution

Assign technician and check status. Ask technician to sync/update the app.

Problem

Customer didn't receive confirmation

Cause

Not sent or contact info missing

Solution

Check phone/email in the customer record and resend.

Problem

Assignment cannot be completed

Cause

Required fields are missing

Solution

Add materials/time/note and try again.

Tips for Effective Use

Use Standard Notes

Follow the format Problem – Cause – Action in all notes for consistent documentation.

Search by Phone Number

Phone numbers often give faster and more precise results than names in the customer search.

Always Date + Time Window

Avoid vague phrasing like "next week". Always set a specific date and time window.

Minimum Requirements

Every order needs: customer, address, type, time, note – and preferably a technician.

  1. Click "New Order"
